Rev. Brian Dovey, retired Command Master Chief with U.S. Navy, delivers the message during Monday’s Veteran’s Day ceremony in Clayton. Rev. Dovey is pastor of Park Memorial Global Methodist Church in Troy. The ceremony was hosted by members of the Camellia Garden Club. Each veteran in attendance placed a wreath at the base of the WW Monument as shown in the picture. Jolene Gothard, president, extended appreciation to all who attended and to those who assisted with the program to include the VFW in Eufaula. Sen. Billy Beasley welcomed those who attended and Dr. Larry Teasley shared an excerpt from the Oliver North speech and introduced the guest speaker.
