Mr. Howard Hubert Beasley, 90, of Louisville, Alabama, died Thursday, August 8, 2024, at his residence.
Funeral services were held Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 3 P.M., at the Louisville Baptist Church. The Rev. Mike Whitman officiated and burial followed in the Louisville City Cemetery with Chapman Funeral Home of Eufaula directing.
Born January 25,1934 in Louisville, Alabama, Mr. Beasley was the son of the late Howard Greer and Virginia Frances Taylor Beasley. Mr. Beasley was a graduate of Louisville High School. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He retired from the Civil Service with over 40 years, with the last 20 years being spent at the U.S. Army Aeromedical Research Lab in Fort Rucker, Alabama. After retiring in 1990, he returned to the lab as a contractor for UES, Inc. and continued his work as an Electronics Technician until retiring again in 2004. He enjoyed spending time at the beach, especially when that time included his family. He was a member of the Louisville Baptist Church and he cherished his church family. He was preceded in death by his brother, Harold Beasley.
Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Beasley; his daughter, Patricia (Scott) Hartzog; two grandchildren, Hailey Hartzog and Adam Hartzog.
Active pallbearers were Adam Hartzog, DeLane Hartzog, Richard Taylor, Jimmy Taylor, Bill Payne, Randy Williams and Hal Beasley.
