Brenda Gale Dykes Williams of Headland (formerly of Louisville), passed away in a Dothan hospital on January 13, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 24, 1955.

The family received friends on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at Keahey Funeral Home of Clio from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Graveside services followed at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Louisville at 1:00 p.m. with Keahey Funeral Home directing. Rev. Mike Whitman officiated at the service. Kristy Clark Stell provided special music and Carly Martin gave a special word.

She is preceded in death by her parents, C.W. and

Mittie Jo Dykes, bother, Michael Dykes and father and mother-in-law, Jack and Martha Williams.

She is survived by her loving husband, Danny Williams; sons, Steven Baxley (Caryn) and B.J. Williams; daughter, Danielle McDaniel (Devin); brother, Marty Dykes (Becky); brother and sister-in-law, Robert Williams (Pam); sister and brother-in-law, Judy W. Clark (Johnny); grandchildren, Ciera Baxley, Breana Baxley, Kelsey McDaniel, Kolton McDaniel and Blayne Williams. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews whom she impacted greatly.

In this time of sorrow, we remember Gale and the love she gave. We remember her smile and constant joy. She was an anchor of strength for those around her, always offering an encouraging word and a prayer of hope. She will be greatly missed and her memory will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations be made to the Mt. Zion cemetery fund.
