Annebell Threatt, a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many, passed away peacefully at her home in Bakerhill, Alabama on November 26, 2023. She was born July 5, 1937 in Texasville, Alabama to Walter and Pearl Helms Davis.
She was a devoted member of Christian Grove Baptist Church until her declining health. Her hard work and dedication to her church were a testament to her character.
Known for her love of cooking, her dishes were sought after at church socials and family events. It was as if she sprinkled a little extra love in each dish.
Mrs. Threatt is survived by her daughter: Dianne (Rick) Almand, of Atlanta, Georgia; her son: Ronnie (Carol) Threatt of Eufaula, Alabama; her grandchildren, Marcie (Randy) Kress of Cumming, Georgia, Kathryn (Justin) Cooper of Clayton, Alabama, and Adam (Victoria) Threatt of Headland, Alabama; She was the proud great grandmother of Madison and Cody Kress of Cumming, Georgia, Courtney Kress of Charleston, South Carolina, Maddox, Mary Mac and Henry Cooper of Clayton, Alabama, Camilla and Jackson Helms of Headland, Alabama. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and caregivers, Peggy Brown, Darlene Harbuck and Annette Glanton who will remember her fondly.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at 11 A.M., in Chapman Funeral Home Chapel. Keith Wade officiated and burial followed in Creel Cemetery with Chapman Funeral Home directing.
