Mrs. Mary Frances Davis Williams, 83, of Eufaula, Alabama, died Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Flowers Hospital in
Dothan, Alabama. Funeral services were held Friday, August 25, 2023 at 11 A.M. at the Church of Christ. Charlie Hart officiated and burial followed in Fairview Cemetery Addition with Chapman Funeral Home directing. The family requests donations be made to the Church of Christ, P.O. Born October 14, 1939 in Ozark, Alabama, Mrs. Williams was the daughter of the late Lyman Lee and Vassie Lee Barefield Davis. Mrs. Williams moved to Eufaula in 1970. She was a member of the Church of Christ and she loved God, family, music and friends. She retired from Compass Bank in Eufaula. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Clay P. Williams, Jr.; her brothers, Julian H. Davis and
Houston L. Davis and her sister, Glenda P. Barrington.
Survivors include two sons, Clayborne Paisley “Clay” Williams III and Richland Davis “Rich” Williams; three grandchildren, Clayborne Paisley (Mattie) Williams, IV., Jacob Hartsell Williams, Caleb Lee Williams; two great grandchildren, Mary Clayborne Williams and Wells Todd Williams; her loving friend, Tracey H. Gulledge; one sister, Hilda Deloney; one sisterin- law, Betty Davis; five nieces, Debbie Deloney, Daphne Marotta, Cheryl Davis, Janet Chapman, Ann Dagostine; six nephews: Jim Deloney, Lee Deloney, Houston Davis Jr., John Davis, Drew Davis, and Blane Davis.
Active pallbearers were Clay Williams III, Rich Williams, Clayborne Williams, Jacob Williams, Caleb Williams and David Johnson.
