David Wilburn Abercrombie, Jr. of Kissimmee, Florida, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2023 at AdventHealth Hospital in Orlando, FL.

Born October 30, 1964, Dave was a native of Barbour County and the son of David Wilburn Abercrombie, Sr. and the late Scarlette Greene Abercrombie. Dave was a graduate of Louisville High School and the University of Alabama at Birmingham and received his juris doctorate from Samford University Cumberland School of Law. An attorney in private practice for many years, he enjoyed traveling and all things Disney.

Survivors include his father; sisters, Allison (Don) Kelly and Anna (Larry) Key; nephews, Garrett Mitchell, Dalton Key, Jamie (Dawn) Key, Thomas Kelly; nieces Madison Mitchell, Heather (Allen) Van Slyke, Alison Kelly; numerous great nieces and nephews; and special friends, Joanne Cannon, Tony Richardson, Rodney Cartwright.

A memorial service will be held at Pea River Presbyterian Church, 2950 Louisville Street, Clio, Alabama at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2023. For those wishing to celebrate his life, please consider making a donation to the Palmer Home for Children, Lake Cormorant, Mississippi.
