Mrs. Emmie Lee Singleton, 90, of Eufaula, Alabama, died Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at Southeast Health Medical Center in Dothan, Alabama.

Funeral services were held Sunday, April 30, 2023, at 2 P.M. in the Chapman Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Herman Parker officiated and burial followed in Fairview Cemetery Addition with Chapman Funeral Home directing. Flowers were accepted and donations may be made to Parkview Baptist Church.

Born November 29, 1932 in Barbour County, Mrs. Singleton was the daughter of the late Shelton Melvin and Annie Mae Faircloth Tew. Mrs. Singleton was a member of Parkview Baptist Church. She retired from Cowikee Mills/TNS Mills after many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Junior” Singleton, Jr. and her son, Owen Cleveland Singleton.

Survivors include four daughters, June (Ashley) Wiggins, Lila Ann Childree, Vickie (Vernon) Nolin, Gwen (Paul) Hartzog; 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren; two sisters, Arlene Thompson, Senoia (Mike) McGreggor; and one brother, Shelton Tew. Active pallbearers were Curtis Wiggins, Cameron Hooks, Jarrod Singleton, Jonathan Singleton, Brian Nolin, Richard Hartzog, Jeffery Nolin, David Wiggins and Craig Childree.
