Mrs. Betty Bowden Bramlett, a resident of Richland, Georgia, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2022 at her residence. She was 70 years old.
Funeral services were held Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Pleasant Plains Baptist Church in Clayton, Alabama with Brother Eddie Davis and Reverend Don Highland officiating and Glover Funeral Home of Clayton directing. Burial followed in the church cemetery. The family received friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Asked to serve as pallbearers were Jason Bowden, Josh Knight, Kevin Bowden, Cyrus Dunn, Charles Bowden Jr., John Bowden, and John Thomas Faircloth.
Betty was born October 23, 1952 in Eufaula, Alabama, the daughter of the late John Bunyan Bowden and Betty June Baxley Bowden. Betty was a very outgoing lady that could master anything she put her hands to such as cooking, hairdressing, and even changing her oil and tires. Betty enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing games on her computer, backgammon, and loved playing pool. As a child she enjoyed Girl Acouts and cheerleading. Betty loved her family and absolutely adored her sisters. She attended First Baptist Church in Richland, Georgia.
She is preceded in death by her parents and loving husband, James
Bramlett.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Beth Erica Granberry (Michael) of Lumpkin, GA; two sisters, Frances Bowden Morris (George Larry) of Clayton, Peggy Bowden Faircloth (Gerald) of Hermitage, TN; granddaughter, Lynsey Julianna Covington (Christopher James) of Buena Vista, GA; two great-grandsons, Mason Julian Granberry, Hunter Bryce Covington; and nephew, John Thomas Faircloth.
