Roger Carroll was born April 20, 1935 in the Baker Hill community in Barbour County to Myrtle Adams and Huey Carroll. He passed away on August 21, 2022 in Rockford, Illinois. He was 87.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ronnie Carroll. Roger is survived by his children, Michael (Linsey) Carroll, Lori Ann Carroll and Angela Marie (Brian) Frey. Roger was the oldest of 37 grandchildren of Bessie and Buddy Adams.
