REMAINS CLOSED - The Clayton Senior Center sits vacant and has not been operational since October 1. Barbour County commissioners voted to not renew their contract with SARCOA (Southern Alabama Regional Council on Aging) in Dothan in September after they reported problems occurring at the center. The topic was not included on the October commission agenda but Commissioner Pat Ivey requested that it be added. A committee of city council representatives and commissioners are to meet to discuss the center’s future.
