Sunday, October 9, 2022 at her residence.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at 10:30 A.M. in Fairview Cemetery Addition. Dr. Ken Bush officiated with Chapman Funeral Home directing.

Born June 12, 1930 in Barbour County, Alabama, Mrs. Spires was the daughter of the late James Floyd and Marie Price Glover. Mrs. Spires was a member of the First Baptist Church in Eufaula and was a member of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Spires.

Survivors include her daughters, Cathy Dykes and Grace McMahan (Benny); her grandchildren, Brittni Butler (Britt), Jad Dykes and Mechele Fail; her great grandchildren, Brantley Butler, Michael Fail and Eric Salinas; and several great-great grandchildren.
