Edward Ray Bush, 64, of Clayton, Alabama, died Sunday, July 24, 2022, at his residence.

Visitation was held at Chapman Funeral Home from 5:00 pm -7:00 pm on Tuesday. Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at 2 P.M., at Fellowship Baptist Church with Rev. Stephen Doss officiating. Burial followed at Sardis Cemetery with Chapman Funeral Home directing.

Born February 5, 1958 in Eufaula, Alabama, Ray was the son of the late William Walter and Annie Britt Hatfield Bush. He was preceded in death by his brother Earl Bush. Ray loved Alabama Football, Nascar, fishing, and country music.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Evelyn Bush of Clayton, AL.; his sons, Dalton Bush, Colton Bush, and Jeff Bush; his daughters, Brandy (Eddie) Trammell and Liz Hutto; his grandchildren, Emily Trammell, Ellie Trammell, Edie Trammell, Ensley Trammell, Lauren Bush, Gavin Bush, Hailey (Jess) Singleton, and Hannah (Logan) Tew; his great grandchildren, Blakelee Bush, Scarlett Lee, and Ensleigh Singleton; his brother, Grady Bush; his sister, Kay Glover.

Active pallbearers were Jarret Dismukes, Justin Dismukes, David Bush, Wayne Pittman, Austin Warr, and Gavin Bush. Serving as honorary pallbearers were Randy Ogletree, Marshall Williams, III, Bob Warr, Lavon Pittman, Neil Bush.
