GLORIA GAIL SEABORN ARNOLD

Gloria Gail Seaborn Arnold, a resident of Eufaula, Alabama, (formerly of Clayton) passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Heaven gained an Angel on Thursday morning… well, depending on what mood she was in… the one’s that knew Mama know what that means!

Ms. Arnold was known as “Teika” to her grandchildren and “Mama” to her children. She was such a strong person with a big heart and would do anything for anybody if she thought she could help someone. She fought until she knew we were all with her and passed away peacefully and probably already started cooking something for someone with Big Mama and the rest of her family in Heaven.

Ms. Arnold was born on November 12, 1938, in Barbour County the daughter of Solon Samuel Seaborn, Sr. and Clara Greathouse Seaborn. She was a 1957 graduate of Clayton High School and was a member of the Clayton Baptist Church. Gloria retired as director of Clayton Senior Center and Secretary of Senior Centers Committee following 33 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Bonnie Ezell and Lula Mae Woodham; brothers, Solon Seaborn, Jr. and Richard Seaborn.

Survivors include her daughter, Kimberly Michelle Beasley Clements (Mark), Lindale, Texas; son, Timothy Scott Beasley, Dothan; two grandchildren, Nicholas Clements and Tanner Scott Beasley; sister, Charlotte Whitehead, Eufaula; brother, Larry Seaborn, Clayton; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Southern Care Hospice, 2576 Montgomery Hwy. Unit 2, Dothan, Alabama 36303.
