Alycia “Lisa” Tillman Carpenter entered through the portals of Heaven on Sunday, August 22, 2021. She was 74. A time of visitation in Andalusia was held from 5 to 6 p.m., Tuesday, August 24, 2021, in the chapel of the First Baptist Church of Andalusia. A Celebration of Life service was held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at Pine Level Baptist Church (1110 Co. Rd. 33, Louisville, AL 36048). The family received friends at Pine Level Baptist from 11:30 a.m. until time of the service. In honor of Lisa, light refreshments were provided in the church fellowship room during the visitation time. Her daughter, Kymberly Carpenter-Keahey, gave the eulogy, Cale McKemy and Rev. Travis Day ministered with music; Jake Woodham read one of her favorite poems. Following the service, the burial took place at 2:30 p.m., at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church (5320 Co. Rd. 15, Ozark, AL). Grieved by her passing, are her husband of 58 years, Henry Harold Carpenter; daughters, Kymberly Carpenter-Keahey (Randy) all of Andalusia; Lana Jordan (Andy) of Eufaula; grandchildren, Jake Woodham of Hollywood, California; Lexie Keahey-Fowler (Christopher) of Andalusia; R.J. Keahey of Andalusia; Lee Jordan of Eufaula; great grandchildren, Ella Lake Fowler, Mary Kate Fowler, Reid Tillman Fowler, Laiken Jordan; sisters, Tami Robinson (Mike) of Eufaula; Karen Williams (Marshall III) of Clayton; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Tal and Judy Carpenter of Montgomery, many special nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, a dear cousin, Brenda Tillman Givens; her beloved cat. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Royce Tillman and Alice Lake Grantham Tillman; grandson, Stone Lake Woodham; sister-in-law, Mary Ella Carpenter. Lisa was a gifted pianist; sharing her gift in churches as early as the age of four. Through the years, she served God with her talent by teaching piano to young children, playing for the children’s choir at the First Baptist Church, the Lutheran Church of Andalusia; Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, Pine Level Baptist Church and many other churches through the years. Lisa was a free spirited “one of a kind” person; to her, the important things of this world were babies, butterflies, beautifully colored birds, and her personal relationship with God. Her daughter, Lana created her mama’s casket blanket. All other floral arrangements were en[trusted to a dear friend and extremely gifted florist, Alan Cotton.
