Dr. King distinguished awards presented
Two distinguished awards were presented by the Clayton High School Class of 1982 during ceremonies held last week. The presentations were initially scheduled for January 17 but due to weather conditions it was postponed until Monday, January 19 at Promise Land Church in Bakerhill.

Master of Memory lessons to be held at Carnegie Library
Master of Memory, a lesson series for older adults, will be held at the Eufaula Carnegie Library, located at 217 North Eufaula Ave in Eufaula. The dates for these lessons are February 11, 18 and 25. Each lesson will be held at 10:00 a.m.

Celebrates 80th Birthday
Friends and relatives gathered on January 10th to celebrate the 80th birthday of Rev. Thomas E. Crossley, a resident of Louisville. The surprise celebration was held at Julia’s Restaurant in Troy. Rev. Crossley was born January 13, 1946.
